Yeah, I loved the type of player he was with us! Hustle, blue collar, grit, hard worker, giving it 110%, my favorite type of athlete to suit up in the black and gold! Wish he could have stuck around longer. He got such a fun following here, miss those days!
That's exactly the shirt, I know I still have it in my Pirates collection! So cool, I'm glad John got to have such a great and extensive career! He was so fun in the Burgh!

Congrats to John! I remember watching him play for Florida State! And I was born in Syracuse but lived in the Jax area for years so I’m torn about the outcome of the series. 😊
I know. Their schedule is harder, too. But I think they’ve improved their team. And Drake Maye is the real deal.
It’s pretty amazing to see John doing this, managing in Triple A, in his first year as a coach. Curious to see what the Mets will do with him next season. He’s definitely got a feel for the game.

Super Bowl losers have traditionally very difficult next seasons. I think the Patriots will just miss or just make the playoffs.
