Thanks John for this piece on Allie. Ive followed UConn basketball for several decades, even before the men’s and women’s programs are what they are now. We went to countless games, my stepmom worked in the ticket office, Geno went to my church. One thing I’ve long believed about Geno is he does a masterful job recruiting players he can coach. For a long time he largely had his pick of any player he wanted. It’s not as easy now but if she was the first commit to that class, that says a lot about her. I’d wager she’s going to do well in Storrs. Thanks for putting her on our collective radar.
