Over the last 15 or 20 years I've been reading bio's of our founding fathers and have derived from those readings all the salient points you noted here John. I have come to the conclusion that all of those that have voted for the silver spooned fed boob that midleads this great nation have left the civics lessons they apparently barely learned in the junk drawer. It's not stupidity but lazy disregard for those civics lessons by some that have got us here.
Now you’ve done it. I might have to re-sub HBO. I know the founding & the Constitution itself are fraught with problematic things, but the brilliant minds of the founders are still awesome to me. Even what we are currently experiencing was considered and addressed in the document, which is only atrophied because so many have betrayed their oaths.
